About Fintilect

  1. What is Fintilect?

Fintilect is a digital banking engagement platform provider focused exclusively on financial services. Our platform transforms customer engagement with personalised digital banking journeys, without replacing your core systems. It lets you offer customers smarter, more engaging financial services, with tailored, personalised products and services delivered at the right time.

  1. Who does Fintilect work with?

We work with banks, building societies, credit unions, automotive finance lenders, and card and personal loan providers across the UK and Europe.

  1. Was Fintilect previously called ieDigital?

Yes. ieDigital, the UK digital banking engagement platform provider, became Fintilect in August 2024. ieDigital’s existing services and platforms remain part of Fintilect’s offering.

  1. Who owns Fintilect?

Fintilect is part of Volaris Group, an operating group of Constellation Software. Volaris acquires, strengthens and grows vertical market technology companies, and holds its acquisitions for the long term.

Products

  1. What is Interact?

Interact is Fintilect’s cloud-based digital banking engagement platform. It is a suite of configurable modules covering origination and onboarding, self-service servicing, mortgage retention, debt collection, secure messaging and live chat, which clients can use individually or together.

  1. Can customers open an account entirely online?

Yes. Interact supports fully digital account opening with integrated KYC and document upload on mobile and web, so no branch visit is needed. Onboarding and account opening can be completed in under four minutes, and applications can be saved and resumed in any channel.

  1. What does Fintilect offer building societies and credit unions?

We provide a hosted digital platform with over 100 configurable features for savings, lending and member self-service. Building societies get automatic tranche management for savings products, and credit unions can serve every eligible member within their common bond digitally. Consumer Duty support, vulnerable member flows and audit trails are included as standard.

  1. What does Fintilect offer automotive finance lenders?

We offer digital origination, servicing, collections and balloon refinance for motor finance providers. Our balloon refinance channel reaches PCP customers at end of term, whether or not they have registered for a customer portal, and turns potential hand-backs into renewed agreements.

  1. Do you support mortgage retention?

Yes. Interact Switch lets existing borrowers compare and switch mortgage products online, with one-time passcode sign-in, ESIS illustrations and SMS or email notifications. An agent portal shows customer activity in real time.

  1. How does Fintilect help with collections and vulnerable customers?

Our collections module lets customers manage arrears through self-service, set up repayment arrangements and complete income and expenditure assessments online. It also identifies vulnerable customers and offers tailored collections journeys with real-time next-best-action guidance.

  1. Does Interact support business banking?

Yes. Business customers can be onboarded digitally, with company data pulled from Companies House, directors and signatories captured, and e-signing and underwriting handled in one journey.

Integration

  1. Do we need to replace our core banking system?

No. Interact works alongside your existing core system, so there is no rip-and-replace or data migration project. It separates the customer-facing front end from your back office, contact centre and branch systems, letting you improve digital journeys without touching the core.

  1. Which systems does Interact integrate with?

Interact is pre-integrated with major core banking providers. It also connects to payment gateways, credit reference agencies and decisioning engines, KYC, AML and identity verification services, e-signing tools, collection strategy engines and business intelligence systems.

  1. How does Interact connect to our systems?

Interact connects through standardised APIs and pre-built connectors, with our integration specialists handling the work during deployment.

  1. Can Interact work with our existing online banking or app?

Yes. You can add individual Interact modules into your current digital banking environment or deploy the full suite.

Implementation, security and support

  1. How long does implementation take?

Interact products can go live quickly, because they use pre-built, configurable modules instead of build-from-scratch development.

  1. Do we need in-house technical staff to run Interact?

No. Interact is fully hosted and managed by Fintilect, so you need no in-house infrastructure or dedicated technical team. This is designed with small or volunteer-governed teams in mind.

  1. How secure is the platform?

Interact is hosted in ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS compliant cloud environments and supports strong customer authentication.

  1. How does Interact support Consumer Duty and FCA requirements?

Interact supports consumer duty and FCA requirements, including support for vulnerable customers.

  1. What support do you provide?

Interact includes 24/7 high-availability support and a maintenance programme.

Pricing

  1. How is Interact priced?

Interact is priced in parts: a one-off implementation fee, then an annual licence that covers hosting, 24/7 support and ongoing maintenance.

  1. Is Interact affordable for smaller building societies and credit unions?

Yes. Interact is competitively priced, and we already work with several smaller building societies and credit unions.

  1. How do we get a price or a demo?
